If your dog is going to be hanging out at Brittany’s place, this is your dog’s new buddy…
It’s Ollie! Which is Brittany’s dog.

Background:

If the name “Brittany Scharr sounds familiar, she is the one that was in the news in December 2020 and beyond for orchestrating and carrying out a very successful donation campaign for the restaurant workers of Media, which at the time, were severely impacted by COVID-19 shutdowns. Thanks to participation from residents of Media and others nearby, she gave away $100 to shocked restaurant workers, again and again, and recorded it on video. It was a feel-good story that got extensive coverage in the news media.

Services that Brittany offers includes the convenience of pick-ups & drop-offs for overnight sitting or doggie daycare. “Ollie loves a good car ride,” she says.

New client onboarding:

For doggy day care and overnight pet sitting at Brittany’s, Brittany strongly recommends a "meet-n-greet" between your dog and her dog — Ollie.

She is happy to travel to your home for this and says Ollie has yet to meet a dog he doesn't get along with. Brittany views the "meet-n-greet" as an essential step in ensuring everyone is comfortable.

Ollie is neutered. Brittany says unneutered males are OK — but preferably no female dogs that could be anywhere close to heat. Proof of up-to-date shots and vaccinations might be requested.

Geographic area served:

Most areas of DELCO. Some areas in CHESTER COUNTY — including : Exton, West Chester, Downingtown.

More details:

Brittany says she began dog sitting in early summer 2021 to give her friendly 1 year old, play-loving doodle companionship. Since she works from home, this has proven to be an ideal gig for both her and Ollie.

Ollie the doodle turned 1 year old on August 9th. Brittany calls him a “double doodle.”

Brittany describes Ollie as 30 pounds of spunk and sweetness. She says he is great with dogs of all sizes from tiny malti-poos to 75 pound golden retrievers — and they have hosted tons of buddies.

Ollie is up to date on all of his shots. Brittany requires your dog to be current as well. Brittany says Ollie is not food aggressive or territorial with toys, and he loves showing his new pals his home, all of his toys, and playing tug of war.
